Karen Stephens, CPA
Partner, Goodlettsville Managing Director
Karen Stephens joined BCPAG, January 2017 as a Partner and Manging Director of the North office. Prior to joining the firm, Karen served as the audit partner for Parker, Parker & Associates. She began her career as an auditor with Deloitte & Touche before joining Parker in 2000. She has extensive auditing and tax experience with not-for-profit organizations and governmental entities as well as for-profit industries including construction and manufacturing. Karen is a graduate of Lipscomb University and Leadership Sumner. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants. She and her husband and two daughters live in Sumner County. She has served on many not-for-profit and Society boards and committees and is currently a member of the TSCPA audit committee.
Steven B. Parker, CPA
Steve is a founder of Parker, Parker & Associates, a firm which combined with BCPAG in 2017. He is experienced in providing businesses and individuals with audit, review and compilation services, income tax and estate tax planning services, and various management consulting services. Steve is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants, the Tristar Skyline Medical Center Board of Trustees, and the Volunteer State Community College Foundation Board. He is a 1973 graduate of Loma Linda University.
Charles N. Parker, CPA
Chuck joined Parker, Parker & Associates, a firm which combined with BCPAG in 2017 not long after it was founded by his brother, Steve. Chuck is experienced in providing businesses and individuals with audit, review and compilation services, tax planning services, and various management consulting services. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Goodlettsville Chamber of Commerce. Chuck is a graduate of the University of West Florida.
Paul Anglin, CPA
Paul Anglin, CPA, performs tax and consulting services and is currently a Principal at the firm. He is a graduate of Lipscomb University, where he received his Bachelor of Science with honors, and received his Master of Accountancy from the University of Georgia. He is a member of American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants. He has over twenty-three years of experience in a variety of industries and service sectors. He has fourteen years of experience with Deloitte and Crowe Horwath, a “Big 4” accounting firm and a top 10 accounting firm, respectively. During his previous public accounting experience, he has served a variety of industries, including manufacturing, health care, service professionals, construction, and not-for-profit, and performed many consulting projects, compliance projects, and accounting for income tax provisions.
Additionally, he served in industry for nine years at Fifth Third Bank, Nissan, O’Charley’s, and Asurion. He gained valuable knowable serving in the tax departments of these various large companies, including leading the tax department at O’Charley’s as Director of Tax. Because of his unique background, he has an understanding of the value of service needed by businesses and has a passion to help his clients exceed their needs.
Client Service Representative
Rachel joined BCPAG in January 2017. She served as client service representative for Parker, Parker & Associates from June 2012 until the firm was acquired by BCPAG. Rachel answers phones, greets clients, oversees tax processing and works with payroll preparation.
Nicole Ceccacci, CPA
Nicole is a supervisor in the audit department at Blankenship and joined the firm in October 2018. She has over 7 years of accounting experience and previously worked with the State of Michigan Auditor General from 2012 to 2018. She brings her experience in auditing state departments of all sizes to her engagements. Nicole earned her Bachelor of Business Administration from Central Michigan University and was recently selected for Young Leaders Council, Williamson Chamber class of 2019. She is a member of the Junior League of Nashville and serves on the board of Friends of Shelby Bottoms Park. She enjoys running and attending concerts.
Assurance Associate | Audit
Wade joined Blankenship in October of 2018 after graduating from the University of Kentucky with a Master of Science degree in Accounting and a Bachelor of Science degree in both Finance and Accounting. Wade has experience in audits for City Governments / Municipalities, Utility Districts, Not-For-Profit Organizations, Construction/Contractors, Manufacturing, as well as other industries. Wade is a good communicator and facilitator with skills in data analysis and technology. He ensures compliance with applicable laws, regulations and internal controls and reports regarding asset utilization and recommended changes in operations and financial activities. He enjoys traveling, water sports and grilling out and is an avid Kentucky Wildcat and Pittsburg Steelers fan!
Whitney Gregory, CPA
Whitney has worked in public accounting since 2014 after earning her Bachelor of Science Degrees in Accounting and Business Administration from Lee University. Whitney has accounting and auditing experience in various industries, including not-for-profit organizations, governmental entities and small businesses. She also has experience in individual, partnership and corporate taxation. Whitney is a member of the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Debbie Helser-Monhollen works in the ASG department at Blankenship CPA Group and brings over 20 years of experience to the team! She has a bachelor’s degree in business administration and accounting. She is also a Certified QuickBooks Proadvisor. Debbie has a wide range of experience working for manufacturing firms, construction, sports and retail clients. She is married and they have 5 grown children between them, 1 grandson and 1 Step granddaughter! When she finds herself with some free time she enjoys sewing.
Goodlettsville Office Manager
Vickie, a graduate of West Tennessee Business College, began with Parker, Parker & Associates in October of 1987 before joining Blankenship CPA Group on January 1, 2017. Vickie has many years of expertise in Payroll, Accounts Receivable and General Office Management.
Kristin Walrond, CPA
Senior Tax Manager
Kristen joined Blankenship in June of 2018 as a senior tax manager. Prior to this she had 15 years of public accounting experience with a large top 10 accounting firm. During this time her skills were used in a variety of industries; insurance, service professionals, construction and real estate development. She has extensive experience with Federal and State tax compliance, tax planning and accounting for income tax provisions. She is a graduate of Tennessee Technological University where she received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Accounting. Kristin is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Macon County Chamber of Commerce. She and her husband reside in Macon County with their two children.
Julie, along with her husband and 2 children, moved to Tennessee in 2014 and have been happy to escape the harsh NY winters! She loves spending time with her family; traveling on short weekend trips wherever that may take them! Julie enjoys helping out with her daughters’ sporting interests as well as donating her time whenever possible and volunteering for fundraising events.
