Abigail Campbell, CPA
Tax Manager Abigail joined BCPAG in 2015. Before joining the team, Abigail lived in Asheville, North Carolina, where she worked for a regional public accounting firm for several years and then as the finance manager for a large non-profit. She received her CPA license in 2014 and also holds a master’s degree in Library Science from the University of North Carolina, Greensboro. Abigail specializes in not-for-profit clients, preparing Form 990s and providing consulting, tax and accounting services. She has a passion for working with boards and non-profit staff both at work and as a volunteer. She enjoys spending quality time with friends and family, hiking and running. Abigail currently serves on the board of the Wild Heart Meditation Center.
Will Harmon, CPA
Sr. Associate | Audit Will Harmon earned both an Accounting and a Finance degree at Harding University. He specializes in working with financial institutions. Will is very responsible, caring and a good steward over his clients. When not at work he works with the Tennessee Prison Outreach Ministry as a way of serving his community. He has family here in Middle Tennessee and a sister in Law School. Will loves spending time outdoors as well as watching any type of sports!
Candace Howard
Associate Candace Howard graduated from Trevecca Nazarene University earning a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting. She started off as an intern here at Blankenship and has since come aboard full time. Candace has experience working with Governmental Entities, Not-for-Profit Organizations, Small Businesses and 401K Plans. She is Bilingual in English and Spanish as she grew up in Quito, Ecuador! She enjoys volunteering for the Boys and Girls Club, tutoring and travelling.
Rich Lockwood, CPA
Principal, Audit Technical Director Rich is a Principal and the firm’s Audit Technical Director. Before his time with Blankenship, Rich worked with local and international firms in southern, then northern, California and Tennessee, serving not-for-profit, construction, real estate, government, education, manufacturing, distribution, and healthcare organizations. Rich continued along this path, adding expertise in large governments and not-for-profits and growth ventures, serving as CFO and compliance officer in a SaaS startup before joining the firm. He invests much of his time evaluating financial reporting for buy- and sell-side M&A transactions and complex debt and equity agreements. He and his wife live in Franklin and enjoy time with their four children. Rich is a current member of TSCPA, GFOA, TGFOA, and the Nashville Entrepreneur Center and past member of the AICPA, GFOA Special Review Committee, and TSCPA Construction Committee. He graduated from Biola University with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Business Administration and emphasis in accounting.
Elizabeth Manning
Audit Associate Elizabeth was born and raised in Louisville, KY and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting in 2019 and a Master of Accountancy in 2020 from Western Kentucky University. She is a member of the AICPA and Tennessee Society of CPA’s. Her hobbies include painting, printmaking, piano, traveling and learning new languages. Russian is her favorite but loves all Slavic languages! Elizabeth also enjoys volunteering her time at animal shelters.
Katlyn Jo Spalding
Senior Tax Associate Katlyn Jo is a Senior Tax Associate at Blankenship CPA Group and has 5 years of experience in the business management and music industry as well as 2 years in Tax for a private firm. She provided her music industry clients with budgeting, ASG work, and royalty tracking. Katlyn Jo provides Tax and Financial Statement preparation, payroll, and payroll tax returns for small businesses. She graduated from the University of Kentucky, holding degrees in both Accounting & Finance. Most clients appreciate Katlyn Jo for her organizational skills, persistence, and liveliness! She enjoys her involvement with Crosspoint Church and spends her free time perfecting her macaron recipes, kayaking and days on the lake.

Kayla joined BCPAG in January 2017. Kayla has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Masters of Accountancy from Western Kentucky University. She began her career as an intern while earning her degrees and gained experience at multiple public accounting firms and publicly traded companies. Kayla has accounting and auditing experience in various industries, including not-for-profit organizations, governmental entities and small businesses. She also has experience in individual and partnership taxation.
